OpenMarket Innovation Praised With Three Award Wins in One Night

OpenMarket, a leader in enterprise mobile engagement was last night awarded three trophies for its innovative solutions and partnerships at the World Communications Awards and Messaging & SMS World Awards.

OpenMarket and Philips were awarded “Most Innovative IoT Solution” at the 18th Annual World Communication Awards for Philips e-Alert, which uses OpenMarket’s mobile messaging technology.  One of the judges remarked that “E-Alert is a genuinely useful IoT solution.”

Philips e-Alert is a remote monitoring tool for healthcare equipment, such as MRI machines. It uses OpenMarket’s mobile messaging technology to rapidly respond to potential issues, reducing downtime and improving patient care.

OpenMarket was also awarded the winner title in two categories at the 2nd Annual Messaging & SMS World Awards.  The first was for “Most Innovative Use of SMS” for its work with Virgin Trains to manage passenger flows at London Euston through targeted mobile messaging interactions.  Its partnership with CodeBroker was later praised with the Award for “Best Strategic Partnership”.

The triple award win follows a series of OpenMarket recent wins at the 11th Annual Retail Systems Awards where it earned the winner title in two categories for its work with Virgin Trains. The double award win included “Customer Experience Initiative of the Year” and “Best Use of Technology in the Hospitality and Leisure Sector” honors.
